I'm halfway and now there's no stopping me

I’m so excited to have lost half my weight and I can’t believe it’s been so easy.
Three kids and a busy career, life gets so hectic, but being on Jenny Craig has really been a no brainer… You know, I make a point of having date night once a week, and occasionally have the odd sneaky glass of wine (you might have seen some images in magazines?). But that’s what I learnt – with Jenny Craig, you know, you can still live – that’s the whole point of the programme - it adapts to your lifestyle.
I hate diets. Diets are boring and everyone knows it’s really hard to lose weight by yourself. You need to have a support system and, if you haven’t got your husband or your friends doing it with you, Jenny Craig’s there.
You know, my girls try and steal my Jenny Craig snacks all the time, so instead of telling them off I’ve had to order more just to have extras in the pantry for Stephen and the kids!
I’ve always been into exercise but as mum it feels like there’s not enough hours in my day to go for the long runs like I used to and getting to the gym was tough with three kids. So what I started doing is running on the treadmill and my favourite form of exercise is now with my kids, I just can’t help it – I have to dance with them! We have our own little dance-offs which is always fun and ends up with lots of giggling girls on the floor.
I had a fabulous Christmas with my family, loads of presents and great family feasts but I had learnt from Jenny Craig what were the good options on the table rather than eating a bit of everything. I’ve learnt what a good size plate is and not to pile it up with everything. It was all about moderation.
So, now I’m halfway to my goal and boy, I feel great! I feel lighter, I have more energy. I wake up in the mornings now and I don’t feel so slow anymore. I’m more like, “Hello world!”

Losing weight doesn’t have to be scary!

Mel B explains how Jenny Craig’s weight loss consultations and delivered food have helped her in her journey.

So

here's a big hi to everyone, I'm so excited to have joined Jenny Craig. This is really going to help

me focus. I put on so much weight during my 3rd pregnancy, I can't wait to start melting the fat off!
It's definitely not going to be easy but I am making a promise not to cheat too much and try my best.
Thank God Jenny Craig have chocolate bars, potato bites and curries. I don't feel like I'm depriving
myself.
I’ve been so busy doing X-Factor and looking after my newborn and my other kids, it doesn't leave
much time for me at all. But as any mum knows, that is really important, making time for yourself.
This is going to work out like my perfect no brainer.
For 10 months I've over indulged and it's time I start portion control, getting back into my exercise
routine, and just generally making time for me, so I'm in a good place to take care of my family.
I'm going to make a commitment to myself and do something about it.
Wish me luck! I'm really looking forward to getting my body back.
Check you later ma peeps.
Mel B
